PPC Insulators has contracted with Mohr Corp. for the sale of its machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures at its Knoxville, Tenn., manufacturing facility. Mohr will conduct a public auction March 2, 2005, at which time all assets on site will be sold to the highest price bid. PPC is a leading manufacturer of ceramic insulators and will continue manufacturing processes at other PPC locations. The sale of kilns, machine tools, material handling equipment and other manufacturing machinery at Knoxville will end production at this location.
