Mohr Corp. will serve as the exclusive sales agent for Summitville Tiles, Inc., Summitville, Ohio, which recently announced the offer for sale of its Morganton, N.C., manufacturing facilities. The modern 196,000-square-foot facility was constructed in the late 1980s as a glazed porcelain tile manufacturing facility with the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery and equipment. Plant capacity is now approximately 190,000 square feet of tile per week, with one standard production kiln currently installed. There are provisions to accommodate an additional kiln that would double production output with the other existing equipment satisfactory to meet this output. SITI was the original prime contractor for machinery and equipment, the bulk of which was manufactured in Italy.
