Mohr to Handle Vac Ferrite Manufacturing Liquidation

The liquidation of all machinery and equipment at the recently closed Vac Corp. (Vacuumschmelze GmbH & Co.) ferrite manufacturing operations at Elizabethtown, Ky., is being handled by Mohr Corp. This modern ceramic magnet facility includes machinery and equipment encompassing material preparation through forming, firing and secondary finishing of ferrite magnets. The machinery that is specific to ferrite processing will be offered immediately for sale by negotiation with individual buyers. Sale of the ferrite-specific process machinery will be followed by a public auction in March 2003, when all general machinery, machine tools, furniture, fixtures and other assets remaining will be offered for sale for the highest price bid. A full asset list of all of items in the sale will be available December 10. The asset list, photos and descriptions will also be viewable at http://www.mohrcorp.com .
