Motion Industries has named Jim Williams corporate director, Industrial Automation, according to Ralph Buntyn, senior vice president marketing. "Emerging technologies and the automation of manufacturing processes in our present industrial environment provide us with an outstanding growth opportunity," said Buntyn. In this new position, Williams will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Motion Industries' industrial automation efforts while providing support for the national industrial automation program. He began his career with Motion Industries in 1985 as a regional fluid power specialist, and has also held the positions of branch manager, regional manager and group automation manager.
