Murata Electronics North America has entered into a distributor agreement with Sager Electronics. Sager was selected because it serves a significant set of smaller and mid-tier North American customers in multiple market segments. It is expected that the distribution arrangement will enable both companies to work together to solve customer problems and deliver solutions in emerging market areas and underserved OEMs.

“Murata prides itself on building longstanding, deep relationships with its channel partners, carefully teaming up to fully leverage our respective expertise,” said Tony Coalson, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, Murata. “We are extremely excited about this new partnership. Sager has an outstanding, proven record in serving their customers. With a focus on harnessing our collective strengths, we know this will be a mutually successful relationship.” “Gaining the opportunity to increase our engagement with Murata, a passive component market leader, further validates our value proposition to our target customers and our commitment to growth with our market leading brands,” said Frank Flynn, president, Sager. “We highly value Murata’s recognition of our differentiation in the industry and of our ability to extend their reach into previously underserved segments of the market. Sager’s focus with customers will be on design activity with Murata's newest technology products.”
