The North American Thermal Analysis Society (NATAS) has issued a call for papers for its 2005 conference, which will be held September 18-21 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, Calif. The technical sessions will cover biocalorimetry/calorimetry, energetic materials/thermal hazards, hyphenated/simultaneous measurements, kinetics, nanocomposites/novel materials and pharmaceuticals. Papers are being solicited on topics such as polymorphic materials, reference materials/calibration, rheology/dielectric analysis/relaxation methods, thermal conductivity, thermoplastics, and modulated techniques/sample controlled thermal analysis/fast scan analysis. All abstracts are due by March 31.
