CECO Environmental recently announced that its newest subsidiary, CECO Abatement, has received an order worth more than $4 million. Under the terms of the agreement, Chicago-based CECO Abatement will supply pollution control equipment to several alternative fuel manufacturing facilities located in North America. Work will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion by mid-2002.

Phillip DeZwirek, CECO chairman and CEO said, "This contract affirms CECO's growth strategy by broadening the company's footprint into an expanding segment of the North American energy market and enhancing operating efficiencies by integrating CECO's full service design, build and installation capabilities through the coordinated efforts of multiple business units."
