StedmanThe "H" SeriesTM Multi-Cage Mill is available in 2-, 4- or 6-row designs in four sizes up to 250 tons per hour (TPH). New design features include air cannons, heaters and hydraulic ram. The air cannons are mounted at the intake and discharge to help prevent the buildup of wet, sticky material, while the heaters are also installed on the grinder housing to retard the buildup of wet material. Dry Grinding Attritor
Union ProcessThis company recently produced a custom dry grinding attritor to meet the specific needs of one of its customers. As a manufacturer of ceramic products, the customer needed to grind ceramic materials, specifically alumina and zirconium, in a metal-free environment. After reviewing and analyzing the customer's specifications and requirements, Union Process recommended a dry grinding SD-100 attritor, which is versatile and easy to maintain. To maximize efficiency for this specific application, the mill was automated to run in batch mode with pneumatically operated discharge valves.
