Eirich Machines Inc.The R12 intensive mixer was recently launched with a completely new design and a usable volume of either 250 or 400 liters, depending on the version. The new design features numerous improvements in terms of design and construction that are aimed at further optimizing the mixing process, material supply, and maintenance and servicing. The distinctive new design is shaped by the inclined mixing pan and a moveable protective hood on the side. The mixer can operate at tool speeds of between 2 and 40 m/s, which provides wide control over the power input into the mixer.
The company's intensive mixers are used for both individual batch modes and continuous processes. The range extends from a 1-liter laboratory mixer to a production mixer with a usable volume of 12,000 liters. The sizes are carefully tailored to the needs of users in the fields of research, development and production. Visit http://www.eirichusa.com .
Micro Batching System
Ingredient MastersThis company's Micro Batching System is designed for continuous production facilities that use minor ingredients. The system is most advantageous for facilities that run the same recipe repeatedly, in different batch sizes, and it can be set up with modular ingredient dispensers to accommodate recipes and batch sizes that change continuously. Micro Batching Systems have four to 24 FDA-USDA liquid-smooth polyethylene dispensers for maximum flow, with a dispenser capacity of 3.5 to 100 cu. ft.
The systems, which provide permanent tracking of batch ingredients and precise weight documentation, can be configured with more than one weigh station to allow individual ingredients to be weighted simultaneously at the main station for the fastest production of certified batches. Controls, recipe storage capacity and custom programming are provided to customer specifications. The Micro Batching System is a lean, efficient, JIT-compatible system that is well-suited to the precision batching of micro quantities of dry ingredients. It is compatible with abrasive and caustic ingredients. Call (888) 345-4729 or (513) 231-7432, or visit http://www.ingredientmasters.com .
Sacmi AutomationThe result of continuous product upgrading, the latest Master/Global sorting systems offer all the main features seen on previous Master units, including mechanical simplicity, accessibility and user-friendly software. Like their predecessors, the new systems have an overall structure based on modular components that, configured according to customer requirements, allows smooth management of the entire tile production end process, whatever the tile type.
The new Master/Global line has been redesigned to enhance both aesthetics and ergonomics. Incorporating all of the company's long-standing experience in the industry, it reportedly offers technical solutions that ensure outstanding reliability and manageability. Visit http://www.sacmi.com .
StedmanThe "H" SeriesTM Multi-Cage Mill is available in 2-, 4- or 6-row designs in four sizes up to 250 tons per hour (TPH). New design features include air cannons, heaters and hydraulic ram. The air cannons are mounted at the intake and discharge to help prevent the buildup of wet, sticky material, while the heaters are also installed on the grinder housing to retard the buildup of wet material. The hydraulic ram has eliminated the gear head motor and rack and pinion that were used on the company's other cage mills, making the unit more cost-effective to maintain. Dry Grinding Attritor
Union ProcessThis company recently produced a custom dry grinding attritor to meet the specific needs of one of its customers. As a manufacturer of ceramic products, the customer needed to grind ceramic materials, specifically alumina and zirconium, in a metal-free environment. After reviewing and analyzing the customer's specifications and requirements, Union Process recommended a dry grinding SD-100 attritor, which is versatile and easy to maintain. To maximize efficiency for this specific application, the mill was automated to run in batch mode with pneumatically operated discharge valves. Featuring a gross tank capacity of 155 gal, the custom SD-100 was equipped with tungsten carbide sleeved arms and a ceramic-lined tank to provide a complete metal-free system.
