NexTech Announces Projects Totaling $2.8M

NexTech Materials Ltd. recently announced that it has been selected for six competitive technology development awards totaling $2.8 million to support continued materials and process development. The projects awarded were a U.S. Air Force Small Business Technology Transfer Phase 2 Award, two U.S. Department of Energy SBIR Phase 2 Awards, a U.S. Department of Energy SBIR Phase 1 Award, an Ohio Department of Development Technology Action Fund Award, and a DARPA SBIR Phase 1 Award. All project selections are subject to final negotiation and contract execution. "These awards are both productive and gratifying as they recognize and enhance our ability to contribute to the commercialization of fuel cells, oxygen generators and piezoelectric devices," said William Dawson, president and CEO.
