Niro Inc. is now actively marketing its new compact spray dryer. The design will benefit operators because the dryer requires less space, makes less noise and consumes less energy than its predecessors. The new Integrated Filter Dryer -- IFD(TM) -- features air filters placed inside the drying chamber, which not only reduces plant size requirements and noise levels, but also improves powder quality and overall profitability by enabling operators to recover powder particles in the drying chamber itself. Based on the Fluidized Spray Dryer -- FSD(TM) -- principle, the IFD concept also includes an integrated fluid bed dryer, giving operators control of product properties and resulting in better and more profitable end products.
