Nordic Ceramics AS was established in 2003 with the goal of producing advanced silicon nitride bonded (N-SiC) kiln furniture. After substantial investments in new facilities, a new production line was started up in the summer of 2004 at Norsk Hydro Industrial Park in Porsgrunn, Norway. The new company is operated by experienced personnel, in both administration and production, and the new production line has been engineered with efficiency and flexibility. The production of firing batts and setters is based on CNC shaping, and standardized green batts are available for further processing. Customers can simply send a drawing by e-mail, and the final product is then fired and delivered.
