North American Manufacturing Acquires Stordy Combustion

The North American Manufacturing Co., Ltd. recently announced its acquisition of the Stordy Combustion Engineering Group. The existing European operations of Stordy and North American will combine to trade under a new name, NA-Stordy Combustion. Offices in the UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy and Hungary will serve the whole of Europe. Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of North American Manufacturing, NA-Stordy is positioned as a single source for all process combustion requirements, offering industrial application knowledge, high performance products and systems, and field service support. "Both companies have a tradition of commitment to serving customers' needs in the best of all possible ways," said John Newby, vice president of engineering at North American. "We are confident that the integrated resources will provide our customers with unique benefits in the combustion marketplace and allow us a substantial growth opportunity in Europe."
