NTCA Recognizes Manufacturer Members in Awards Ceremony (posted 11/25/09)

The NTCA recently presented awards to Dal-Tile, LATICRETE and Mapei during its annual Total Solutions Conference.

The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) recently presented awards to three of its Manufacturer Members for their support of NTCA workshops, advertising and membership campaigns during the association’s annual Total Solutions Conference. Special Recognition for Supporting Training Efforts went to Dal-Tile Corp. With a shared mission and passion to educate and train, Dal-Tile was recognized for its leadership and support for the NTCA’s Workshop Program. Dal-Tile has hosted NTCA workshops across the country at dozens of its locations. John Turner, Sr., of Dal-Tile, a member of the NTCA’s board of directors, accepted the award on behalf of Dal-Tile.

Special Recognition for Membership and Workshop Programs went to LATICRETE International, Inc. Through continued sponsorships and participation, LATICRETE has provided consistent support in the recruitment of new members and exposure to new markets. LATICRETE has proven to be a main ingredient to a successful workshop through its financial and technical support across the country. Ron Nash, National Sales Manager of LATICRETE, was presented this Special Recognition Award.

Special Recognition for Marketing went to Mapei Corp. In developing a subcommittee of the NTCA’s board of directors dedicated to advertising and marketing programs, Mapei assisted the NTCA staff in the creation of promotional materials for NTCA programs, including workshops, Five Star Contractor Recognition and recruitment of new members. Jeff Leone, business development manager of Mapei, accepted the award on behalf of everyone at Mapei.
