Oldcastle Glass Group has purchased the operating assets of International California Glass and International Carolina Glass, formerly wholly owned subsidiaries of International Aluminum Corp.

With operations in Fontana, Calif., and Rock Hill, S.C., the newly acquired businesses will be known as Oldcastle Specialty Glass.

"These acquisitions add new capabilities and market segments to Oldcastle Glass Group," said Ted Hathaway, chief operating officer. "We will invest more than $1.5 million in these new companies to install state-of-the-art glass processing equipment and information systems technology."
