The St. Louis Section and the Refractory Ceramics Division of the American Ceramic Society will sponsor the 38th annual symposium March 21-22, 2002,in Chesterfield, Mo.

The St. Louis Section and the Refractory Ceramics Division of the American Ceramic Society will sponsor the 38th annual symposium with the theme "Refractories for Continuous Casting of Steel" March 21-22, 2002, in Chesterfield, Mo. at the DoubleTree Hotel & Conference Center. Jeff Smith of the University of Missouri-Rolla is the program chair.

Bottjer will be recognized as the recipient of the 2002 T.J. Planje Refractories Award.
