Look Inside Fuel Cell Seminar

In 2011, the Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition (FCS&E) celebrate its 35th year as a top forum for professionals in the fuel cell industry. The event will be held October 31-November 3 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Fla. Topics to be covered will include fuel cell research, development, applications and commercialization.

Technical Education

The FCS&E is highly regarded as an industry forum because of its top-notch technical program. During this year’s conference, presenters will lead sessions on high- and low-temperature R&D; fuel processing; hydrogen R&D; fuel cell testing; fuel cell modeling; demonstrations and end-user perspectives; commercialization; and global overviews. A government plenary session and a technical poster session are also scheduled. Prizes will be awarded for the top three posters.

Short courses will again be offered as part of the FCS&E educational program. Interested participants can choose from the Basics of Electrochemistry Short Course or the Fuel Cell Fundamentals and Technology Short Course. A day trip to the Florida Solar Energy Center, followed by the Space Coast Solar Energy Center, is also scheduled as an option for anyone who would like to witness the ongoing research projects at those facilities.

Fuel Cells on Display

Another major highlight of the event will be the Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition Exhibit Hall. More than 100 companies from around the world will share their latest technologies and products with attendees. The exposition will provide an opportunity for attendees to network and form connections with potential business partners or prospects. The welcome reception, networking lunches, and exhibitor presentations and demonstrations will all take place on the exhibit floor.

Additional Highlights

Other noteworthy programs at the 2011 Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition will include the Women in Fuel Cells luncheon, the FCS&E Awards and the Industry Reception. For additional details or to view a list of exhibitors, visit www.fuelcellseminar.com.
