Orton Ceramic Foundation will present a Conference on Drying & Firing of Traditional Ceramic Products, November 14-15 at the Hilton Garden Inn Columbus Airport in Columbus, Ohio. The conference will be a practical series of courses on the fundamentals of drying and firing ceramic products. It is intended for process engineers, kiln department supervisors, casting shop supervisors and others responsible for the control of the drying and/or firing of ceramic products in a production setting. Featured speakers will include Dan O'Brien, vice president of Harrop Industries, and J.J. Lukacs, industry coordinator-ceramics for North American Manufacturing.
