Owens Corning recently announced that it has been added to the 2010 Calvert Social Index, a stock market benchmark for measuring the performance of large, U.S.-based socially responsible companies. The index currently includes 662 companies selected from the 1000 largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. using criteria established by Calvert Investments. Criteria relate to the environment, workplace, product safety, community relations, international operations and human rights.
