Anderson Co., Inc., was recently chosen by the Brick Association of the Carolinas as the Merit Award winner during the association's biennial design competition for its participation in constructing the Braswell Memorial Library in Rocky Mount, N.C. "Receiving the Merit Award for our brick used in creating the Braswell Memorial Library is quite an honor," said Andy Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing. "Through Sutton Brick, a distributor of Palmetto Brick, we had the pleasure of working closely with architects J. Hyatt Hammond Associates on this particular project. Despite winning awards from 11 other states, we are especially proud of those awards given from the Carolinas because this is our home and where we have established our long-standing heritage."
