Paragon has introduced a new bead kiln called the EZ Beader, which is designed to anneal glass beads to prevent breakage during cooling. The new kiln comes in two versions: the EZ Beader with 3-key digital controller and the EZ Beader-S with infinite control switch and pyrometer. The digital EZ Beader can be programmed to maintain the annealing temperature and to cool at a specific rate. On the manual EZ Beader-S, a built-in pyrometer shows temperature. After the kiln reaches the annealing temperature, users can adjust the infinite control switch occasionally to maintain that temperature.
