MorePfeiffer Vacuum has introduced the TurboCube™ vacuum pumping
station. According to the company, its TurboCube™ combines a
turbomolecular pump with an integrated controller and a backing pump
within a closed housing to form a fully automatic plug and play
vacuum system. Flexible and modular in design, the system reportedly
allows for a wide variety of pumping configurations. It is available
with UHV pumping speeds from 60 to 500 l/s and a choice of dry or oil
lubricating backing pumps to 12 m3/hour.
