PhotoMachining, Inc. recently announced that it has expanded its Pelham, N.H., facility through the acquisition of 50% more floor space contiguous to the existing facility. The new area will be devoted to system integration, assembly and testing. In addition, the contract manufacturing area has been expanded to allow the company to bring new laser tools on-line. An analytical center will include a high-resolution SEM and a z-axis interferometric microscope, in addition to the company's current optical tools. All shop lasers will be enclosed in environment-controlled rooms, with the precision lasers located in a Class 10,000 cleanroom.
