PocoFoam is the tradename of a new thermal management material. According to the company, this material is a lightweight, strong graphite foam with exceptionally high thermal conductivity. Applications include heat sinks and heat exchangers that could be smaller and lighter. The company expects to develop a variety of grades in the PocoFoam family of material and has the post processing resources and expertise to develop graphitic foams with a wide range of treatments to include impregnations, infiltrations, conversions and laminates.
