The board of directors of Acimac, the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics, recently designated Pierluigi Ponzoni as its new chairman for 2004-2008. Ponzoni is chairman of Lema srl of Albavilla, a company founded by his father, Luigi, in 1949 that specializes in the fabrication of molds and presses for the ceramic industry. Ponzoni has sat on the Acimac board since 2001 as a mold fabricator group representative.
