Classes for the Session 2 Winter Schedule at the Potters Place in Walpole, Mass., have recently been announced. The fundamentals of pottery are taught in several classes that are divided into children, teen and adult sections. Students will meet for three hours a week for either six or eight weeks to learn basic wheel techniques and hand building. Both morning and evening classes are offered.
Potters Place is a nonprofit cooperative that was founded by Henriette Dresens in 1980. Its mission is to share the pottery experience with the community through classes and other programs. For more information, visit www.pottersplace.info.
