An exhibition featuring porcelain ware by potter Tim Eberhardt opened at the Zanesville Museum of Art (ZMA) in Zanesville, Ohio, on June 4. The exhibition, which will remain open through August 13, is the first in a series of pottery shows at the Zanesville Museum of Art that will highlight contemporary works styled in the tradition of historic Ohio crafts. Eberhardt’s show, which includes more than 90 pots, vases and other vessels, is one of the largest solo exhibitions in an American museum. The artist is well known for his painted nature motifs on the outside of classic porcelain shapes.

In addition to the short-term exhibitions, the Zanesville Museum of Art features permanent collections from American and European artists, as well as collections of Ohio pottery and glass. Classes, events and an annual Ohio Show are also offered by the ZMA. For more information, visit www.zanesvilleart.org.
