PPG to Announce Third Quarter Results Next Week (posted 10/9/09)

PPG Industries will hold a teleconference October 15 at 10 a.m. ET to discuss its third quarter 2009 earnings. PPG participants will include Charles E. Bunch, chairman and CEO; William H. Hernandez, senior vice president of Finance and chief financial officer; Robert J. Dellinger, senior vice president of Finance and chief financial officer designate; David B. Navikas, vice president and controller; and Vincent J. Morales, vice president of Investor Relations.

Interested parties may listen to the teleconference by calling (800) 299-7635 or (617) 786-2901 and using passcode number 67842100. A telephone replay will be available beginning at approximately 1 p.m. ET on October 15 through 5 p.m. ET on October 30. To access the replay, call (888) 286-8010 or (617) 801-6888 and use passcode number 82847307.

A webcast will be available in listen-only mode from PPG’s Investor Center at www.ppg.com. A replay of the webcast will be available on PPG’s Investor Center beginning at approximately noon ET on October 15 through October 1, 2010.
