Preliminary Program Released For Magnetics 2004

The preliminary program has been released for Magnetics 2004, scheduled for June 9-10 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center in Denver, Colo. The conference will feature more than 25 technical sessions focusing on the latest technical innovations and application developments in the worldwide magnetics market, including "Thermal Stability and the Effectiveness of Coatings for Sm-Co 2:17 High Temperature Magnets at Temperatures up to 550C," presented by Michael Walmer, president of Electron Energy Corp.; "Developing Nanocomposite Soft Magnetic Materials Based on Exchange Coupling," presented by Yide Zhang, director of magnetics projects at Inframat Corp.; "The Evolution of Powder Compacting Presses for the Magnetics Industry," presented by Dale Gierszewski of Best Hydraulic Presses, Inc.; "Soft Magnetic Composites: Properties and Applications in Rotating Machines," presented by Alain Marcotte, senior engineer in the Magnet Development Department of North American Hoganas; and "Powder Metallurgy Process Offers Elegant Solution to Soft Magnetic Material Applications," presented by Kalathur S. Narasimhan, vice president and CTO of Hoeganaes Corp.
