The Navigator state-of-the-art monitoring and control system from Premier Mill features a microprocessor and network communication capabilities. This system has been added to the company's Supermill 2, submersible mill and ESD multi shaft mixer lines. The unit includes a large, easy-to-read IEE vacuum florescent screen and displays process information such as shaft speeds, percent load of motors, product temperature, operating pressures, total run and batch times, and safety alarms. The system automatically controls the process equipment based on set temperatures and motor percent loads, adjusting operating speeds, pump flow rates and cooling water flow as needed.
