3TEX Receives Tibbetts Award from SBA

3TEX, Inc. has received a Tibbetts Award from the Small Business Administration (SBA).

3TEX, Inc. recently announced that it has received a Tibbetts Award from the Small Business Administration (SBA). The annual award is given to U.S. organizations that serve as "models of excellence" and provide outstanding leadership in Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR).

"We are very honored to receive this special recognition from the Small Business Administration," said Brad Lienhart, CEO of 3TEX. "Our internal research and development teams deserve full credit for putting 3TEX in a position to receive this prestigious award. Through their efforts, we have developed more than a half dozen revolutionary design patents to create 3-D weaving products that are stronger than steel and lighter than aluminum." Based in the Research Triangle Park Area, N.C., 3TEX designs and develops 3-D fabrics and composites.
