Grant Aldonas, Under Secretary for International Trade, International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, will give the keynote address at FABTECH International 2004, October 27, at the I-X Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During his address, "Keeping American Manufacturing Competitive in a Global Economy," Aldonas will discuss initiatives undertaken by the U.S. government in the past two years to energize the manufacturing segment of the U.S. economy. The event is co-sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, Int'l. (FMA).
