Asahi Glass Co. Ltd. (AGC) recently announced plans to create a Business Development Office. By leveraging the total organizational strength of the AGC Group, the new office will assume cross-divisional functions such as marketing and business planning/promotion. The change takes effect on January 1, 2011. Yoshinori Hirai will serve as general manager of the new Business Development Office.
