"ASI" Co-Sponsors China Business Seminar

April 12, 2004
"Adhesives & Sealants Industry" magazine ("ASI"), a sister publication of "Ceramic Industry," is co-sponsoring "Doing Business in China: Crossing the Cultural Divide," June 15, 2004, at the Embassy Suites BWI in Baltimore, Md. This management-level seminar will provide attendees with information on how to conduct business in China. Topics will include an overview of international regulatory policies, how to enter the Chinese market, intellectual property issues, business customs, governmental regulations, cultural imperatives, a market overview, and more relating to the logistics and challenges of doing business in China. While the specific marketing information will be geared toward the adhesives market, there will be a wealth of great generic information to help anyone improve or develop business in China. The moderator for the seminar is Daniel Joseph, founder of Cultural Dragon, a consulting and training firm dedicated to helping businesses succeed in China, and a frequent columnist in "Ceramic Industry." Joseph authored "Wen and the Art of Doing Business in China" and has been extensively involved in Chinese business development.

Registration is $795 per person ($695 for members of The Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc.). Register online at http://www.ascouncil.org/secured/China_Seminar.cfm. For a PDF of the promotional brochure, http://www.adhesivesmag.com.
