The board of directors of Alfred Technology Resources, Inc. (ATRI), which operates the Ceramics Corridor Innovation Centers (CCIC) program, recently announced the election of Thomas E. Wilber as chairman for a one-year term ending June 30, 2006. He is director of strategic projects, administration, at Corning Inc. and a member of the ATRI board. In a separate action, Alastair Cormack, Ph.D., dean of the School of Engineering and director of the Graduate School at Alfred University, was elected to serve on the board for a three-year term. Cormack, who has been with Alfred for the past 10 years, was previously on the faculty at University College, London, UK.
