The Building Environment and Thermal Envelope Council (BETEC) will hold Emerging Technology: Sustainable Buildings III in Santa Fe, N.M., October 17-18, 2001. The symposium will be presented in conjunction with a hands-on workshop on old and new construction technologies at the Northern New Mexico Community College, El Rito, N.M., October 13-16. Topics presented at the symposium will include moisture control modeling, fibrous exterior wall assembly, plastered straw bale construction and treated wood structural systems.
