Ceramaseal has reported the receipt of approximately $1 million in
orders for custom-designed feedthroughs, which will be used within
CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The CERN (the European
Organization for Nuclear Research) laboratory is located just west of
Geneva and is the world's largest high energy physics research
center. The feedthroughs are expected to be shipped during the next
12 months. "Ceramaseal has been aggressively expanding international
sales efforts over the past five years," said Gary Balfour, general
manager. "We are currently experiencing robust international sales
gains and anticipate the continuation of this trend."
