The event will formally open on Tuesday, July 9, with a cocktail reception in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Monterrey Parque Fundidora, located next to the convention center.
The symposium will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, with discussions on the present and future cost and availability of natural resource (water and raw materials) and energy (gas and electric power). On Thursday, talks will focus on research and development and technological innovations in processes and equipment for the ceramic industry. On Friday, presenters will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Mexico’s foreign commercial treaties with North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific and South America, as well as the effects of these treaties on both small and large ceramic corporations in Mexico.
The exposition will be held from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, through Friday, July 12, and will feature over 40 companies that supply raw materials, manufacturing equipment, and other products and services to the ceramic industry.
