Council Formed for Hot Isostatic Pressing Industry

A new council representing segments of the hot isostatic pressing (HIP) industry has been formed within the Advanced Particulate Materials Association (APMA.

Advanced Particulate Materials Association (APMA), a member trade association of the Metal Powder Industries Federation. The HIP Council includes builders of hot isostatic pressing equipment, consultants, producers of HIP products and companies providing HIP services.

The council intends to be a working group forming subcommittees dealing with issues such as safety guidelines, specifications, market expansion and technology transfer.
