Giving and Receiving

October 20, 2011

Art lovers in the Bay Area will be interested in the fall deals and benefits currently offered by The Crucible. From now until December 29, anyone who purchases a gift certificate, class or membership at the nonprofit arts education center will receive a voucher for $30 off a class (must be valued at $100 or more). Classes at The Crucible include handbuilding ceramics, glass blowing, jewelry making and much more. Gift certificates can be purchased in denominations over $50 and can be used for any class or membership tier.

Sculptor Michael Sturtz opened The Crucible in 1999 with a specific mission in mind: to offer anyone and everyone the opportunity to create. The Crucible is now reportedly the largest nonprofit industrial education center in the U.S. For more information, visit www.thecrucible.org.
