Glassman America 2004 Will Feature Workshops, Conference

dmg world media, organizers of Glassman America 2004, recently announced provisional details of the workshops and conference. To be held May 18-19 at the David L. Lawrence Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., Glassman America will feature a series of workshops hosted by the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council (GMIC), an official show sponsor. Two workshops, "Compressed Air--Best Practice" and "Process Heating--Best Practice," have been scheduled for May 18, while "20 Major Energy-Saving Tips--Best Practice" will be held May 19. The GMIC has also confirmed the title for its conference, which will take place on May 20 at the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh. "Glass Refining--Future Technologies" is expected to appeal to glass manufacturers and the industry's plant, equipment and materials suppliers.
