W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. has introduced a new version of its
AMAZON™ filter bags for dry particulate filtration that reportedly
offers significantly improved durability as well as enhanced airflow.
Designed for pulse jet bag houses operating up to 400F, the new high
durability configuration launches the company's most advanced
generation of GORE-TEX™ membrane, which is nearly four times
stronger than existing membranes, the company reports. The new
membrane is laminated to high quality aramid felt, which contains a
scrim for added robustness. This allows AMAZON(TM) high durability
filter bags to deliver increased moisture and acid resistance,
product recovery, emissions control and long term mechanical
endurance.
