Heraeus Inc.'s circuit materials division offers a variety of
materials systems and processes for manufacturers of multi-layer
passive components used in products with frequency requirements
ranging from approximately 200 KHz to more than 80 GHz. The systems
reportedly enable manufacturers to meet market needs for components
with reduced dimensions and increased operating frequencies.
According to the company, its systems for multi-layer component
fabrication include a complete ferrite materials system, the Heratape
(TM) LTCC product line and KQ materials technology. Each system has
been designed for cost-effective processing and can be implemented
without extensive capital investments by companies with experience in
standard thick film technology, the company reports.
