Pilkington’s Tile has announced plans to end ceramic wall and floor tile production at its Manchester, England, facility. A liquidation sale of all manufacturing plant machinery and equipment has been contracted by the receiver to Hilco-UK Ltd., which has partnered with Mohr Corp. and MOHR-UK for this project. A sale is now underway for the facility’s equipment, including ceramic body preparation, forming, finishing, firing, and packaging. All plant machinery and equipment is being offered for sale this year.
