Due to the circumstances arising out of the recent tragic events, I-PRO EXPO has cancelled I-PRO EXPO, scheduled for October 4-5,2001 in Miami Beach, FL.

Due to the circumstances arising out of the recent tragic events, I-PRO EXPO has decided to cancel I-PRO EXPO,scheduled for October 4-5,2001 in Miami Beach, FL. According to show organizers, this decision was based upon a number of prevailing conditions, including international travel restrictions, domestic airport shutdowns, federal embargoes on freight and passengers coming into the U.S., and the inability of the industry to travel to and within the U.S.

The I-PRO management team and Process Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA), the event sponsor, conducted numerous conversations with exhibitors, attendees, conferees, conference speakers, media outlets and service providers that garnered information that further supported the decision to cancel the event.

In light of this national tragedy, the I-PRO EXPO Show management has decided to waive all conditions for reimbursement as indicated in exhibitor contracts, and credit exhibitors the full 100% of their current payment to any of the Powder family of events, including IPRO 2002, scheduled for October 16-17, or INTERPHEX events. Registrants may also opt for a full refund. Attendance and conference registration fees will also be refunded.

Reed Exhibitions and PEMA officials have said that they will meet in upcoming days to deliberate processes and procedures to move forward.
