Lucifer Furnaces, Inc.'s line of protective atmosphere elevator
quench furnaces is described in Bulletin 7000. The brochure provides
complete specifications, dimensions and work load capacities for the
furnaces, which are ideal for low-production, scale-free
applications. Designed for 2100F operation, the units combine pre-
heat section, hardening chamber, cooling vestibule and quench tank in
one integrated unit. Available in eight standard sizes, the furnaces
offer chamber sizes ranging from 5 x 5 x 12 in. to 10 x 10 x 36 in.
and workload capacities from 15 to 55 pounds. Options include
equipment for fully automated operation, safety equipment for
flammable combustible atmosphere operation, pusher rod assembly, air-
operated doors, fan or water-cooled vestibule, quench tank agitation
and heating, sight ports, flow meter and regulator.
