The series 4099 ovens are reportedly ideal for tempering, annealing, stress relieving, shrink fitting and heat treating large workloads.

Lucifer Furnaces’ series 4099 ovens are large, high-velocity models ideal for tempering, annealing, stress relieving, shrink fitting and heat treating large workloads. Designed for operation up to 1400°F, these heavy-duty models are equipped with a roof-mounted alloy recirculating fan that provides a vertical airflow pattern for uniform temperature throughout the chamber.

Louvers balance the airflow and increase velocity into the work chamber. Side-wall heating elements feature heavy-gauge, low-watt-density wire coils mounted individually on ceramic rods, making element replacement easier and less costly. A stainless steel liner forms the work area, baffling the work load from the direct radiation of the heating elements. Elements are fully exposed to the airstream, promoting faster heat up.

Series 4099 ovens are ruggedly constructed with a heavy angle iron frame and sheet steel facing. The chamber interior is lined with a multi-layer combination of lightweight firebrick and block insulation to minimize heat loss. The chamber floor has removable hearth plates that can support workloads up to 75 lbs/sq ft and protect the floor insulation.

All models are equipped with a manual hand crank vertical lift counterweighted door that keeps the hotface door surface away from the operator at all times. The door travels in guide rails designed with a tapered bottom, compressing the door against the chamber opening to ensure a positive seal.
