The units are designed with multi-layered firebrick and mineral block insulation, along with a stainless steel liner and alloy recirculating fan for uniform temperature.

Lucifer Furnaces’ series 4000 oven models are economically designed for the energy-efficient tempering, drawing, annealing and preheating of steel, aluminum, glass and ceramics. Designed with multi-layered firebrick and mineral block insulation, along with a stainless steel liner and alloy recirculating fan for uniform temperature, the units offer maximum heat storage and minimum heat loss.

Long-lasting, heavy-gauge, coil-wound, low-watt-density heating elements are mounted in easy-to-replace holders on side walls. The horizontal swing door comes equipped with an adjustable latch for a positive seal, and a safety micro-switch shuts off power to the elements and fan when the door is opened.

Series 4000 ovens are available at operating temperatures from 1200 to 1800°F and oven chambers from 9 x 9 x 12 in. to 36 x 36 x 72 in. Available options include over-temperature safety systems, quench tanks and alternate door arrangements.
