A newly revised “Powder Metallurgy: the Preferred Metal-Forming Solution” brochure from the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) contains updated data on designing and specifying powder metallurgy (PM) parts. The new 24-page brochure replaces the 1999 “Design Solutions” brochure.

The new brochure contains information on how PM parts are made, engineering properties, selecting materials, finishing operations, designing for PM, alternative forming processes, applications and much more. It is illustrated and contains many charts and tables. The brochure is intended for design, materials, and mechanical engineers, as well as purchasing professionals.
