The Toledo Glass and Ceramics Award recognizes distinguished scientific, technical or engineering achievements in glass or ceramics.
The Michigan and Northwest Ohio Section of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) is soliciting nominations for its Toledo Glass and Ceramics Award. The Award recognizes distinguished scientific, technical or engineering achievements in glass or ceramics. There are no limitations regarding age, nationality, sex, or ACerS or section membership.
A nominee must be living, but exceptions may be made on recommendations of the selection committee and the officers of the section. The award consists of a certificate and an engraved glassware piece and will be presented at an award meeting in April 2009. The deadline for submitting a nomination is December 19, 2008.
Nominations can be mailed to Janet E. Bailey, 17680 Lake View Circle, Northville, MI 48168; or sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
