Type FD muffle furnaces from National Element Inc. operate on AC or DC at the usual line voltages up to 250 volts. Temperature is controlled by a precision microprocessor control system, which automatically compensates for variations in heat load, line voltage and ambient temperature. Other features include a microprocessor controller/solid state relay control system, digital temperature setpoint and readout, smoothly regulated temperature control and stainless steel casing.
